I am an artist with a bachelors degree in microbiology over 20 years professional experience in the fields of biotechnology, research and development and formulation.

I mainly do my drawings in soft pastels and / or pastel pencils. They are then digitized and turned into cards, prints and other media.

99% of the time, I have no idea what is going to come through my pastel / pencil. It just goes from my brain onto the paper. Sometimes it will look like something, I will then go on to make it look more or less like that something. It will then be titled according to how it ends up (or will go without a title until someone tells me what it reminds them of). Very scientific.
